Heat beat Suns in RCBL 6th week

The Heat pulled away from the Suns in the second half of their meeting at the B&G Club, Monday. The game was as close as it could get at the half-time break with the Heat holding on to a one point advantage, 39-38. Agnew had paced the Heat with 17 first-half points, one more than Adam Rebello’s 16 for the Suns.

The Suns’ James Holenko drilled three from long range in the second half, scoring 16 for a game total of 30, all but equalling Rebello’s 32.

In the second game of the twin bill, the five Lakers who showed up for the game led the undefeated Bulls for three and a half quarters but could not finish the job.

The Bulls’ Brant Silvia had the game high 29 points. Asil Cash (17), Ryan Kurth (12) and Tim Penicaud (10) also made it to double digits. James LaBell (21), Jared Silva (18) Heath Estrella (15), John Healy (13), and Noah Hazelton (12) all made it to twin columns. Final score: Bulls 90, Lakers 77.
