Gladys Goud, 94, died on April 15 in Dunedin, Florida.
She was born in Rye, N.Y., on September 17, 1916. She met and married Charles Arthur Goud in New York City. They had two daughters, Patricia Kim Force and Pamela Jean Costantini. As a family they visited Edgartown in summers, and she had many friends all her years visiting and living on the Vineyard.
She is survived by her two daughters, Patricia Kim and Pamela Jean, and her grandson, Christopher Costantini.
She was a compassionate, strong, and beautiful woman who was determined to live to be 100. This and her enthusiasm for life contributed to her positive outlook and long life, and her ability to encourage with grace the lives of others.
