The urge to migrate did not fail her, after a winter in Venezuela.
She just returned to last year’s abode . . .the nest-pole on Oyster Pond Road.
If her mate returns any time soon, she’ll be sitting on eggs by early June.
Her mate will respond to her every wish, especially her appetite for fish.
Thereafter, she’ll do her very bestto add two or three little ones to the nest.
So, in this part of the Vineyard’s osprey nation, the stage is set for the next generation.
