Poem: To One Super Scary Critter

It once forced a famous lady named Muffetto hastily vacate her tuffet.

And according to what historians say,she also left her curds and whey.

If, for a reason your memory begs, just imagine a critter with eight furry legs.

My personal courage begins to ebb,as I picture the creature spinning a web.

Of weapons, spiders employ a medley:some secrete a poison that’s deadly.

This one, fortunately, can do no harm;it’s a replica built at a Vineyard farm.
