The Lookout, a popular restaurant and bar in Oak Bluffs, opened its doors for the 2013 season on Friday, April 5.

With the closing of Seasons Restaurant and Pub earlier this year, Lookout owner Mike Santoro (who was general manager at Seasons) has added a few favorites from Seasons to the Lookout menu — such as steak tips, turkey tips, grilled salmon with a Thai chili sauce demi-glaze, Jack Daniels-hoisin steak skewers served with horseradish cream sauce, crabcakes served with mango salsa, Buffalo fingers, sweet potato fries, and grilled salmon BLT on ciabatta bread with a spicy aioli sauce.

Also new this year is executive chef Jhoseph da Silva, former executive chef at Seasons and former sous chef at Chesca’s in Edgartown.

Three lucky raffle winners won $50 gift cards to the restaurant. They were Don Gosselin of Oak Bluffs, on Friday; Amy Billings of Oak Bluffs, on Saturday; and Paul Garrity of New Hampshire, on Sunday. The winner of the Grand Prize, a Red Sox getaway package for two, was Tony Springer of Edgartown.

The Lookout is open every day from 3 pm. Sushi Night begins Sunday, April 14, where diners get 25 percent off sushi from 5 to 10 pm (does not apply to take-out). For more information, call 508-696-9844 or visit lookoutmv.com.
