Fashion for charity

The second annual Respond in Style Charity Fashion Show, hosted by the Tisbury Volunteer Ambulance Service, is this Saturday, April 27, at Dreamland in Oak Bluffs. Emergency personnel will walk the catwalk in support of Island Autism Group. The event is from 6 to 10 pm and in addition to the show, features hors d’oeuvres, a raffle, live auction, and music. Shear it up

On Saturday, April 27, Island Alpaca will give their charges spring haircuts at the third annual Shearing Day, open to the public. From 10 am to 5 pm (rain or shine) see the alpaca up close, learn about the fleece to fiber transition, and enjoy refreshments at the Oak Bluffs farm. Back from Chicago, IMP performs here

The IMPers just got back from two sold-out shows at the Chicago Improv Festival, and are performing this Saturday, April 27, at The Base at Alex’s Place, at the YMCA of M.V. IMP and Alex’s Place are collaborating to give the only teen troupe selected to perform at the festival a place to share their skills on the Island, according to a press release.
