The other week I walked into our library and found “Gretchen and Sam Feldman: A Blended Life,” a self-published coffee table book that shares the history of two of Chilmark’s own. Thank you, Sam Feldman, for sharing your family histories, stories, photos, art, and so much more. One cannot help but be inspired by both Sam and Gretchen’s lives. Be sure to check it out!

Here’s the latest Beetlebung Farm report: Beetlebung Beef Farm Meat is now available Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm across from Conroy’s on the porch at 22 Cournoyer Road (cash, check, and credit cards all accepted). I ran into Chris Fischer on the boat the other day after he had just learned his cookbook made Bon Appetit’s “15 Favorite Cookbooks of 2015.” Oh, and the cookbook is available at the new meat store. Congratulations, Chris, and good luck with all your endeavors in 2016.

Sending thanks out to Chilmarker Laurie David, producer, author, and advocate, who has joined the advisory board of the Martha’s Vineyard Film Festival.
