The Barn Bowl & Bistro on Uncas Avenue in Oak Bluffs announced that sign-up has started for spring bowling leagues. General manager Mike Sawyer said there are still openings in six leagues, but he expects they will fill up soon.

Fall league play ends in January, and has been a huge success, he said, with lots of laughter and fun.
The leagues with some remaining openings are men’s, women’s, mixed, senior, and business leagues. There are also a few openings for the Moonlight League, which competes on Sunday evenings.
Each team must have only four bowlers, and will play once each week for 15 weeks, according to a press release. Participants are encouraged to form their own four-person team. Individuals may participate, and will either be assigned a team or added to a substitution list. League schedules are in process, so participants are urged to sign up now.
Winners receive trophies, and all league bowlers benefit from periodic perks throughout the league season. All leagues have a limited capacity, and participation will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
Sign-ups can be made on the Barn website at thebarnmv.com, or email leagues@thebarnmv.com or call 508-696-9800.
