By Landen Osborn Stromsoe
I grab my board
Drop it on the ground
I give a push
I’m on my way down
Going down a hill
Collecting speed
I feel the grip lock in my feet
My grip is like sandpaper, it’s the most reliable
I give a kick
I hear a sound
That’s my wheels sliding on the ground
With wheels smooth as stone
And a rock-hard deck
Nothing could go wrong, that’s what I expect
I turn around
As you know it
I’m laying on the ground
