Students at the Martha’s Vineyard Public Charter School invite the public to the first ever Ag-tivist Potluck Feast this Saturday, May 14, from 5 to 8 pm at the Charter School in West Tisbury. The event is free; guests need only bring a place setting, a dish, and a story to share. Martha’s Vineyard Public Charter School juniors and seniors have spent the year working on environmental issues. They coined the term “Ag-tivist” to describe active engagement and growing consciousness of the benefits of locally grown food and a healthy food culture. For more information, contact the Charter School at 508-693-9900.
Potluck and storytelling session asks: Are you an Ag-tivist?
