Strawberries are a staple of June on Martha’s Vineyard, and groups on Martha’s Vineyard celebrated the summer harvest with sweet treats this past weekend. The First Congregational Church of West Tisbury held their annual Strawberry Festival for the 28th year in a row on Saturday. Guests enjoyed strawberries and cream and smoothies on the front lawn. Many left with strawberry jam and other treats.
Morning Glory Farm also held a festival in celebration of their own berries, which could be found for sale by the pint, baked in pies, or sliced atop strawberry shortcake.
