There’s a new company in town, one that will make your cocktail parties, birthdays, weddings, and get-togethers even more enjoyable. Island Cocktail Co., by Doriana Klumick and Kate Foster, has launched on-Island, and is providing a new service: They bring the bar (and all its accessories) to your party.

Both Ms. Klumick and Ms. Foster are part of the Island fabric as owners of Plan It Martha’s Vineyard, a wedding and event coordination service. In their experience, there has always been a need for cocktails service, bartenders, and overall general execution of a smoothly run bar at events. Using local Island builders, they’ve constructed a couple of gorgeous bars for events, where they set up as a professional bar whether you’re hiring them to shake up cocktails, specialty drinks, or craft beers.

This unique service won’t break the bank, either. They adapt to every budget, from small cocktail parties to large weddings, customizing every part of your bar experience. The process is simple: Contact them and tell them a little bit about your event, your budget, your likes, and your dislikes. They’ll put together a personalized plan for your event, and using local liquor store vendors, they’ll put together a menu of cocktails (or beers) just to your liking. The great thing is, anything unopened can be returned to the liquor shop the day after, so you’ll never have leftover bottles of booze lying around (if you don’t want to). It’s also a fantastic way to support Island vendors instead of ordering from off-Island.

Once the bar and boozy components are brought in, the fun part, where Ms. Klumick and Ms. Foster really shine, begins. They’ll create custom cocktail recipes, supply the bartender and linens, and with enough time, even create personalized napkins and accessories. Heck, they’ll even bring the ice. Basically, you don’t have to worry about a thing when you hire them. As event planners, they’re a step ahead of everything, so you’ll feel confident putting things in their hands.

The ladies shared their personal favorite cocktails with The Times:

  • Ms. Foster is a lover of gin (and loves that gin is finally making a comeback!), so she shakes up Bombay Gin, St-Germain, grapefruit juice, and Sauvignon Blanc for a drink called the Left Bank.
  • Ms. Klumick enjoys sipping on a Blueberry Lemonade, made with blueberry vodka, soda water, and lemonade.

These are both perfect summer drinks, which I recommend you test out at home, but the owners also disclosed the cocktail trends they see coming up in the industry: herbs, cucumber-infused anything, lavender, and a focus on organic.

These women and their professional staff of bartenders will bring happiness to your next party. That’s what they’re really selling, not cocktails or a bar service, but the peace of mind that your event will run smoothly. And you’ll never be out of ice.
