We spent another long day up at Boston Children’s Hospital last Friday with Miss Amelia, as we begin to hopefully wind up what has been a very long and challenging year for her. This coming Saturday marks one year since our dancer injured her right knee in a dance competition. Unfortunately, she had the same issue with her left knee crop up since her first knee surgery in September, so she had to have that knee repaired last week. While our process over the past year has been long and hard, we knew that it would be resolved with time. One doesn’t have to spend much time at Children’s to know that not everyone we see there is so lucky. I am humbled each time I go there and grateful for the problems I have. Thankfully, this too shall pass.
