A goose on Tabor House Road heads to the dump last week. —Valerie Sonnenthal

I was very sad to read of Lucille Plotz’s death last week at her home in Brooklyn, N.Y. I wish her extended family and many friends much sympathy. I count myself as lucky that I had the opportunity to meet and interview both Lucille and her husband Charles Plotz on the occasion of their 70th wedding anniversary for this paper. Lucille Plotz was the kind of woman I would have relished as a family member. I know her warmth, brilliance, and can-do attitude will be missed by many. Contributions in Lucille’s memory may be made to the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, 1000 Washington Avenue, Brooklyn, NY, 11225; bbg.org.

You can check the review out here: bit.ly/aroniefoodtruck. Or stop by anytime from 10 am to 2 pm, and try it for yourself.

Congratulations to Chilmark and Baltimore, Md., artist Carol Brown Goldberg on her collaboration with hundreds of students and others at the Frost Museum at Miami’s Florida International University. Read about this great community project here: bit.ly/supermurals.
