A Dukes County Grand Jury indicted Jason Willoughby of Tisbury on one count of involuntary manslaughter on Thursday. Willoughby was also indicted of distribution of a class B substance and conspiracy to violate the Controlled Substances Act.

No arraignment date has been set, according to Cape and Islands District Attorney’s Office spokesperson Tara Miltimore.

As The Times reported in February, Willoughby was charged with drug offenses after the girlfriend of his uncle, Leo Willoughby, died of an overdose.

Willoughby is represented by Edgartown attorney Robert Moriarty in Edgartown District Court on the drug charges. Moriarty told The Times he plans to remain with his client as the case moves into Dukes County Superior Court.
