Chilmark: Welcome, May

Jen and Henry Hall enjoy their first visit with their 14-year-old poodle to Lucy Vincent Beach, despite many Island visits over the years. —Valerie Sonnenthal

Last rainy Sunday afternoon I walked with my son at Lucy Vincent Beach, and ran into two couples, one originally from Macedonia and visiting for the first time from their New Jersey home, and the other couple, Jen and Henry Hall (not related to any Island family) from Nahant, and their 14-year-old standard poodle, who usually visit by boat. This was their first day visiting up-Island beaches.
