Martha’s Vineyard Community Services’ 43rd Possible Dreams, hosted by Seth Meyers, takes place this Sunday, July 25, at 5 pm, streaming live from the historic Tilton Farm in West Tisbury.

This year’s Possible Dreams boasts a lineup of 33 unique Dreams — 24 of which will open for bidding on Friday, July 23, at 9 am. An additional nine live Dreams will open the day of the lived-streamed event. All Dreams will help make a difference in supporting the vital work of MVCS, which is made up of clinicians and social workers, psychiatrists, counselors, case workers, teachers, and volunteers. They all work together in collaboration with police and primary care physicians, the hospital and Island schools. Whether you’re a veteran or a senior or teenager or a mom, MVCS offers services to help, including disability services, domestic and sexual violence, mental health and recovery, youth and family services and more.

Possible Dreams supports all these services and gives the community an opportunity to bid on some special Dreams. This year guests can look forward to “live dreams” such as:

— A sail aboard the Tree of Life schooner with Henry Louis Gates Jr. to explore his new series:  “The Black Church: This Is Our Story, This Is Our Song.”

— An environmental cruise and discussion on the Charlotte with Special Presidential Envoy for Climate, John Kerry, actors Mary Steenburgen and Ted Danson, Liz Witham and Ken Wentworth, and Nat and Pam Benjamin.

— An afternoon with New England Patriots defensive end Chase Winovich at the Patriots Training Camp in Foxborough.

— An opportunity to join Shep & Ian Murray at the Vineyard Vines flagship Edgartown store to create a custom Vineyard Vines design.

“I couldn’t be more proud of the breadth of auction ‘Dreams’ that we have collected for this year’s Possible Dreams. I am so excited to share them with everyone and am excited to see everyone’s reaction,” said Martha McNally, Possible Dreams co-chair. “We have found a variety of items that combine the best of cultures, skills, and uniqueness that can only be seen on Martha’s Vineyard. A special thank you to all of our auction donors; you will make every one of the winning bidders very happy individuals indeed.”

All bidding will take place online. Virtual registration is open now and interested bidders are encouraged to register at bit.ly/3kCp2X5 and download the auction software that allows for mobile bidding.

Possible Dreams is the largest annual fundraiser for MVCS, offering participants the opportunity to purchase unique on and off-Island experiences, all while giving back to their Island community. For more information on how to participate, visit mvcommunityservices.org/possibledreams.
