On Saturday, Chilmark voters will gather at 1 pm for a special town meeting. The sole article on the warrant asks for an additional $1.2 million for the town’s fire station replacement and Tri-Town Ambulance headquarters construction project. Thus far the town has authorized $12.6 million for the project. The additional funds will cover a higher-than-expected bid for the job.
