Stephanie Ellen Berryman-DePaula, 58, formerly of Vineyard Haven, passed away unexpectedly on Oct. 16, 2023, in Bantam, Conn.
She was born on Dec. 15, 1964, in Hartford, Conn., to Carol Ann (Rice) and Robert Francis Berryman, both now deceased. She attended East Carolina University in pursuit of a theater arts degree, and ran a variety of businesses on Martha’s Vineyard, including Chilmark Housekeeping, Berryman Tax Services, and a beeswax candle company called Let There Bee Light.
She is survived by her daughter, Alekzandria (Berryman) Gibson; her two grandchildren, Lily Marie and Adam Gibson; siblings Marcia, Brian, Jennifer, Leslie, and Theresa; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Close friends are invited to attend a celebration of Stephanie’s life at the Portuguese-American Club in Oak Bluffs on Thursday, Nov. 2, beginning at 6 pm.
