Twenty-four Vineyard Cribbage Club members met on Wednesday at the American Legion Hall in Edgartown to play our favorite game. The results are:
First, Bill Russell with a 12/6 +101 card
Second (grr …), Mary Alice Russell, 12/5 +73 card
Third, Albion Alley, 10/4 +113 card
Fourth, Sharon Barba, 10/4 +52 card
Fifth, Jack Silvia, 7/3 +27 card
Sixth, Louis Larsen, 7/3 +12 card
We had 12 skunks (games won by more than 30)! Five people played the 24-point hand: Sharan Barba, Louie Larsen, Samantha Burns, Tony Rezendes, and a newcomer, Mara Duncan! One flush crib by Bo Picard rounded out the night, and we were all home by 8:30 pm.
If you would like to check us out, come on over to the American Legion Hall in Edgartown on any Wednesday evening. We have food to share at 5:30 pm, and we start playing at 6 pm SHARP.
