This year marks the 50th anniversary of the filming of Steven Spielberg’s “Jaws,” shot in various locations on the Island. In celebration, the Edgartown Board of Trade is hosting events throughout the weekend as part of Amity Week. The Edgartown library is partnering with a photo-scan-a-thon to capture and archive photos taken during the movie’s filming. Bring your photographs to the library anytime during open hours to have them scanned into a central database. Friday, June 28, 10 am to 5 pm.
