To the Editor:
We are headed toward a recession, and possibly a depression.
I hope town departments and agencies are not planning an increase in their budgets. I also hope the voters in the town meetings this spring vote against any request for an increase in taxes.
It is already hard enough for homeowners to pay their taxes. Economic hard times will only increase that burden, and exacerbate the affordable housing shortage.
