On Sunday, June 15, Red Cat Kitchen and the Oak Bluffs Association will host their Annual Drag Brunch during Pride Week 2025. This high-octane celebration of love, inclusivity, and self-expression offers two showtimes — 11 am and 2 pm. This year’s brunch will feature an all-star lineup of drag performers, lots of glitter, delicious food, fun swag, door prizes, contest for best-dressed, and specialty cocktails.
“This is our third year,” said beverage director, general manager, and organizer Timothy Lee. “When Pride started taking off in O.B., it led to us wanting to expand a little bit. The owners want to be involved and inclusive to the whole community, and bring the community together.”
The headliner this year is Boston’s Mizery, who was a contestant on “RuPaul’s Drag Race.” Many of the other performers are also former contestants from “Drag Race.” “Most of our performers are from the Boston area and the East Coast,” Lee noted. “The shows each run about two hours, with 30 minutes in between.”
Everyone in the community is invited. “We always have a cross-section of people,” Lee said. “You don’t have to be 21 to come. Last year we had an elderly couple who came to celebrate their 50th anniversary together. The fact that they chose a drag show to celebrate their anniversary is awesome.”
Brunch includes breakfast risotto, salmon ham, bacon, sausage, grits, and more. Guests are encouraged to come dressed to impress and ready to celebrate.
Seating is limited, so grab your tickets. Tickets are available on the Red Cat Kitchen page at order.toasttab.com.
