To the Editor:

I’d like to take a moment to express something deeply personal and full of gratitude.

Recently, I found myself in a place where I needed to come home — not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually. My parents, without hesitation, opened their door and their hearts to me. They didn’t ask for explanations or apologies. They simply welcomed me back with love, warmth, and acceptance.

In a world that often celebrates self-sufficiency, we don’t talk enough about the courage it takes to lean on family — or the deep strength and compassion it takes to offer that support without condition. I feel incredibly fortunate to have parents who have done exactly that.

To my parents: Thank you for giving me a safe place to land, for loving me when I needed it most, and for reminding me what family is truly about.
