16 members of the Vineyard Cribbage Club met to play our favorite game of cribbage. The results are as follows:
1st place: Andria Jason with an 11/5 +78 card (28 hand as well!)
2nd place: Bill Russell with a 10/5 +10 card
3rd place: David Christensen with a 9/4 +51 card
4th place: Samantha Cron with a 9/4 +33 card
Five 24-point hands were dealt. They were: Mary Alice Russell, Roy Scheffer, Andria Jason,
Louie Larsen, and David Christensen.
There were a total of 6 skunks, a game lost by more than 30 points.
A big congratulations to Jack Silvia and Bill Russell for earning their Bronze Award in the Grass Roots League –– 1,000 points earned! Huge achievement!
If you can play a game of cribbage in less than 20 minutes, come and join us. We meet on Wednesdays at the American Legion in Katama. We have a potluck every week at 5:30 pm, and we start playing at 6 pm sharp.
