Auditions for the Martha’s Vineyard Playhouse’s 2026 outdoor Shakespeare production, “As You Like It,” directed by Brooke Hardman Ditchfield, will be held at the M.V. Playhouse on Friday, April 10, 5 to 7 pm, and Saturday, April 11, 12 to 4 pm. For principal and supporting roles, the playhouse is seeking energetic, non-Equity adult actors of all ages, abilities, and ethnic backgrounds. All candidates must have housing on Martha’s Vineyard.
The first rehearsal will be June 15; the play opens July 15 and closes August 8 (with a possible extension through August 15).
Email auditions@mvplayhouse.org to book a slot. Please prepare a short monologue from “As You Like It” (under 2 minutes).
If you would like to submit a video audition, email your headshot, résumé, and a video
audition (under 2 minutes, please). A YouTube link is preferred. Send via email to auditions@mvplayhouse.org no later than April 11.
If you play an instrument or sing, please prepare no more than 32 bars of music to perform.
