To the Editor:
It is with profound gratitude that I wish to thank the Island-wide community for their tremendous support throughout my campaign for a position on the Tisbury Select Board. I promise to address the issues mentioned in my campaign materials — issues which citizens brought to me. Fiscal stability, astute capital planning, equitable wastewater policies, diverse housing opportunities, and broader opportunities for communication and collaboration are all urgent issues. We need to position Tisbury to answer its challenges. I am honored to be a representative of your voices. To paraphrase Kent Healy, former West Tisbury Select Board member, I was running for office, not against anyone. I want to thank Greg Martino for his congenial campaign and consistent encouragement. Many folks have told me that they hope to see us work together in the future. I agree. Remember, Tisbury works best together!
