“We Americans live in a great house that democracy built.” –Raphael Warnock
Sen. Raphael Warnock, who is also the senior pastor at Atlanta’s Ebenezer Baptist Church, will be the guest speaker at the Festival of Worship in Word and Song on August 9 at the Tabernacle. This collaboration between West Tisbury CC, Union Chapel, and the MVCMA will begin at 2 pm.
The Tabernacle will also be hosting its annual benefit concert on Saturday, August 15, this year featuring the Wallflowers, with special guest Wolftrap. Don’t miss this chance to see Jakob Dylan and band as they celebrate the 30th anniversary of their groundbreaking album, “Bringing Down the Horse.” Tickets at mvcma.org.
