The annual spring town meeting for Edgartown will be held at the Old Whaling Church. — MV Times

Circuit Arts welcomes singer-songwriter John Craigie to the Old Whaling Church for an evening of music and storytelling, presented in partnership with MVY Radio. With songs rooted in honesty, humor, and human connection, Craigie has become one of today’s most beloved independent touring artists, captivating audiences with his engaging stage presence and deeply personal songwriting.

His most recent album, “I Swam Here,” was released in February 2026. Written and recorded between New Orleans and Astoria, Ore., it reflects the landscapes and communities that shaped its creation. Collaborating with a close-knit circle of musicians including longtime friend Anna Moss, Craigie crafts a collection that balances Gulf Coast warmth with Pacific Northwest introspection. The result is an album that feels both intimate and expansive, inviting listeners into stories that linger long after the final note.

The concert will feature an opening set by country singer-songwriter Laura Cantrell, host of “Dark Horse Radio” on SiriusXM’s Beatles Channel.

August 27, 7 pm, Old Whaling Church. Tickets: https://circuitarts.thundertix.com/events/264442. Artist Bio: https://johncraigie.com/about.
