Weekly Activities

Daily: Beverages and Snacks All Day,
9 am to 3 pm

Mondays

• Exercise with Patience Campell and Marilyn Miller. In person or on Zoom. 9 am.

• Chair Volleyball, 1-2 pm

• Blood Pressure Clinic with Nurse Faith Laskaris at 12pm, Oct. 5 and 26

Tuesdays

• Cornhole, 1-2 pm

• Crochet and Knitting,1-3 pm

• Peticare with Debbie, biweekly at 10 am. Dates: Oct. 6 and 20. Call for a reservation. All pets must be leashed or crated.

• Wellness Clinic, Oct. 13 at 12:30 pm. This wonderful program has returned to OBCOA in collaboration with the Oak Bluffs board of health and the VNA!

• BOWLING IS BACK! The OBCOA Senior Bowling Program began for the season on Tuesday, Sept. 29! Contact Rose at rcogliano@oakbluffsma.gov, or 508-693-4509, ext. 3.

• OBCOA and OBPD Luncheon, Oct. 13 and 27, at noon. Call to make your reservations.

• MATTER OF BALANCE. A collaboration between HAMV and Island Councils on Aging, this wonderful program is now at the OBCOA. Lauren Bagnall is our trainer, and will share her knowledge and expertise regarding balance, exercise, and health.

We will be offering the program again in 2027. Please call to sign up if interested in joining!

Wednesdays

• Coffee with a Cop, Oct. 7 at 10:30 am. Come join Chief Searle for informative and interesting conversation!

• Let’s Talk: Stroke and Memory Support Group, weekly 9:30 am Oct. 7, 10 am Oct. 14, 21, and 29
• Bingo, 1-3 pm, Oct. 7, 14, 21, and 29

Thursdays

• Exercise with Bill White, 9 am in person or on Zoom.

Fridays

• Tai Chi with Floyd Lifton, 9 am in person or on Zoom

• Back to OBCOA! Cell Phone Mastery at 11 am to 1 pm, dates to be determined.

We need adjustable metal canes with four prongs. Please consider donating them to us to provide them for our seniors’ use! Thank you for the donations of durable medical equipment that we have received!

We will be closed Monday, Oct. 12, in observance of Columbus Day and Indigenous Peoples’ 

Day. We will reopen on Tuesday, Oct. 13, at 8:30 am.
