Ella Munnelly is digital editor as well as a writer with a focus on community-driven reporting at The Times. She joined the paper as an intern in 2024 and has since continued covering the people, places, and traditions that define the region while also managing online content to help shape the paper’s digital presence. She graduated from Loyola University Chicago’s School of Communication in 2025 with a degree in multimedia journalism.
