The Martha’s Vineyard Museum in Edgartown is seeking photographs of Islanders who served in World War II for an expanded version of a current exhibition, “Those Who Serve – Martha’s Vineyard and World War II.”
The museum plans to open a new gallery on Memorial Day for the exhibit that runs through Labor Day. The museum is also looking for photos of military sites and activities on the Vineyard during WWII, such as activities at the naval air base, beach maneuvers and the Island’s USOs.
