I’m getting a little disturbed by all the gossip around here; I mean I have heard so much gossip the past week and I can’t use any of it in my column. I’m tired of hearing the phrases, “This is not for your column” or this is “off the record.” So, if the column seems a little dry this week, don’t blame me. Some people just don’t want to share this business with everyone — go figure.

Pizza night is back to Wednesdays at the Orange Peel Bakery, 5-8 pm, weather permitting. If the weather looks iffy just go to the Bakery’s Facebook page where Julie will post updates. The bakery provides dough, cheese and sauce, you bring toppings and there is a suggested $10 donation per person. Once summer kicks in you’ll want to get there early to get a parking spot and a place to sit.
