Two at the All States Meet
Shivonne Schofield and Michael Schroeder qualified for the Eastern Mass. Division 2 of the MIAA All State Cross-Country Championships run at the Gardner Municipal Golf Course, Saturday.
Shivonne, a junior, finished the 2.9-mile course in 19:22 in 98th place.
Mike Schroeder, a sophomore, was 145th in 16:51.
Thanksgiving Day Run
The annual Oak Bluffs Thanksgiving Day 5K road race begins at the Oak Bluffs Police Station at 8:30 am, not 10 am as previously reported. The registration fee of $10 is a contribution to the heating assistance for the elderly fund.
