Well the town is “in the pink,” and many other colors, as most of the spring-flowering trees and shrubs are at their peak this time of year. Take a stroll up Circuit Ave. and through many of the streets around the town and everywhere areas of bright colors from the trees or plants will catch your eye. To add to the beauty, many homes and shops are being renovated or painted. How welcoming we will look when the busy summer season arrives.

More than 35 years ago, when she was around 12 years old, a young lady came running to my front door with my dog Pepper on the end of a rope. Panting from running, she said “Quick Mrs. Alley, hide Pepper, I just let him out of the dog catcher’s car.” So today I wish special birthday smiles on May 18 to Louise Dahil and again thank her for rescuing my dog.
Enjoy your week.
Peace.
