I used to complain about the gremlins who messed up my column in the past. Last week they completely obliterated the Tisbury column. Then some technical glitch put the West Tisbury column under my name. Yikes. I never said those things. Honest. My apologies. At least the online version was correct, but that did not help. Most of my readers are right here on the Island.

On Friday afternoon I had a call from the ladies who were preparing those wonderful lobster rolls at Grace Church. They were very upset with me. I was shocked that they actually thought I would ever claim anyone had a lobster roll nearly as good as theirs.

You do know that the folks at Yankee Magazine declared Grace Church lobster rolls the very best in New England, right? The New York Times called them the best Friday night lobster rolls. And for the past three years they have been rated the Best on the Vineyard in votes placed by our friends and neighbors as well as visitors. So please tell the ladies that you saw this when you buy your lobster rolls tomorrow!
