KCT Concert a hit

American roots based musicians Richie Stearns and two of his friends, fiddler Rosie Newton and Old Crow Medicine Show guitarist Willie Watson, played their special brand of music to a full house at Katharine Cornell Theatre Saturday night.

Their mix of vocal and instrumental music, original songs, classic and obscure old time music, blue grass, and blues entertained the appreciative audience for a solid three hours with only one short intermission.

The show was produced by KCT Concerts’ Gregg Harcourt, who said, “It was one of the best shows I’ve ever seen here.” They will be on-Island again performing at The Yard on October 1.
