Potluck Jams at the Chilmark Community Center, a winter staple, make a rare and welcome summer appearance tonight.

Potluck jams are true Vineyard events. Tonight’s event features a long lineup of Vineyard talent that culminates in concert- set style performances from Ben Taylor and DCLA.

Organized by Alex Karalekas, the Pot Luck jams have become hugely popular events. Bring food and drink and head over to this free event at the Chilmark Community Center near Beetlebung Corner between 6 pm and 11 pm.

Dreamland in Oak Bluffs hosts a fun, eclectic mix of musicians that begin at 9 pm, tonight. Telephoned, Kodachrome, A Bordo, The Skeleton Sisters and DJ Di will perform.

Telephoned first received acclaim for their creative remix of T-Pain’s “Can’t Believe It.” They got their name from the game “telephone,” and like their namesake they change their original source material into a final version that promises unexpected twists. The show fee is $10, 21-plus, and it offers a dance- centric, club- derived soundtrack.

Saturday

Eclectic Method, a Brooklyn based Deejay group led by frontman Jonny Wilson, will be at the Lampost on Circuit Ave, Saturday night. Their quick electronically remixed music should have the dance floor moving all night.

Benjamin Lee Patterson and The Ryes and Good Night Louise will be rocking the house at the Pit Stop across from Tony’s Market at 9:30 pm. These two seasoned acts are summer veterans, and this is a great chance to see music at an all ages environment.

Sunday

This Sunday the Adam Lipsky Quartet will bring in Julian Litwack (guitar) from New York, Max Judelson (bass) from Boston, and Mike Marcinowski (drums) from Northampton, MA at 8:30 pm at the Pit Stop. This all ages event is BYOB, and is $10 / $5 for member and “students.”
