The Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School boys hockey team rebounded from an early 2-0 deficit to earn a 4-4 tie with Dennis-Yarmouth in a penalty-filled consolation game of the Fairleigh S. Dickinson 17th annual tournament Sunday at the MV Ice Arena.
Scorers for the Vineyarders included Tyson Araujo, Andrew Carroll and Andrew Wiley in a game featuring 18 penalties. The Vineyarders outshot D-Y 35-16 in the contest.
Lynnfield, who beat the Vineyarders 5-3 on Saturday night, and Westwood, 4-1 winners over Dennis-Yarmouth on Saturday, played later on Sunday in the championship game
