Former MVRHS quarterback finds success in Switzerland

Former Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School quarterback Mike McCarthy is undefeated in his first two professional starts in Europe. Mike, who led the Vineyarders to a Super Bowl in 2008, is the starting quarterback for the Geneva Seahawks, a second-division Swiss football team. He began his season with 43-16 and 48-6 victories. During Mike McCarthy’s impressive start, he has thrown for four touchdowns and run for three.
