The annual Oak Bluffs fireworks display on Friday night, August 19, is expected to attract thousands of people to Oak Bluffs. With road closures in place and parking in short supply, the Steamship Authority has announced plans to divert two boats scheduled for Oak Bluffs to arrive and depart from Vineyard Haven on Friday night.
The departure and arrival of the ferry Woods Hole (6:30 pm from Woods Hole to Oak Bluffs and 7:30 pm from Oak Bluffs to Woods Hole) and the departure and arrival of the ferry Martha’s Vineyard’s (7:30 pm from Woods Hole to Oak Bluffs and 8:30 pm from Oak Bluffs to Woods Hole) have been moved to Vineyard Haven.
