The Vineyard Haven Post Office will extend its retail window hours on two Saturdays, Dec. 10 and Dec. 17. Window hours will be 9:30 am to 4 pm. There will be no retail window hours on Sunday. However, the “dutch door” will be open for package pickups on Sundays, Dec. 11 and Dec. 18, from 9 to 12. “We have very limited space here,” Vineyard Haven Postmaster Debra Chickering said to The Times, “so please come pick up your packages as soon as you get a notice. Thank you. We appreciate it!”
The Edgartown Post Office will also have extended hours on Saturdays, Dec. 10 and Dec.17. The retail window will be open from 10 am to 4 pm. Edgartown will also have Sunday retail hours, from 8 am to 2 pm, on both Dec. 11 and Dec. 18.
