Oak Bluffs: Spring is coming

0

What a wonderful gift last weekend was to us all. The warm sun, blue skies, and warm temperatures lured many of us outside, and we quickly forgot TV or any inside chores we had planned on doing. It was so great to see people walking and enjoying this beautiful Island of ours that we probably don’t take time to appreciate enough. I have noticed that early in the mornings, when I am letting the cat either in or out, the birds are starting their spring songs, a little hesitant perhaps, as if they are rehearsing an unfamiliar melody, but still it is the start of a promise of warmer weather to come.

All Oak Bluffs residents, voters, and friends are invited to an open house to participate in the concept, development, and design for a new building to replace the present town hall. Please enter through the office door facing there, and a committee member will greet you to guide you on your tour. There will be some light refreshments and the building committee is looking forward to having you share your thoughts and insight.
