Oak Bluffs: Craft Sale at Tabernacle

— Shelby Regan

Once again we have endured a week of little sunshine and clouds, sprinkles of rain and high humidity. As comedian Steve Martin said: “A day without sunshine is like, you know, night.” How true, as sometimes these days you wonder if perhaps it is bedtime and a nap seems more suitable than working in the yard or shopping. I guess we should follow the examples of the birds as they keep singing while about their business, and the flowers keep growing and lifting their heads so the bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds can drink their fill.

Traffic is almost unbearable, but what does lift your spirits is it appears that drivers are much more generous in waving us into the main flow of traffic from the side streets.  Keep being kind, helpful, and courteous and wear your masks.
