Join the Martha’s Vineyard Chamber Music Society for two night of concerts on Monday, July 27, at the Old Whaling Church in Edgartown and on Tuesday July 28 at the Chilmark Community Center, shows begin at 8 pm. Both nights will feature legendary jazz pianist Billy Childs, Maksim Velichkin, and Delores Stevens performing Beethoven’s “Cello Sonata Op. 5 No. 1,” LeGrand, Bernstein, and Mr. Childs’ own original compositions. Admission to concerts for adults is $35 ($30 with Island Club Card) and students attend all concerts for free.
