The leaves might be falling, but wow is it beautiful out. With all these sunny days and mild temperatures, it’s hard to believe the holiday season is nearly upon us. Who can think of holiday shopping when it feels like September out there? Well, I spent Saturday up in New Hampshire at the outlets, and lest we forget, we always have the world of retail to remind us what is up — they were already blaring Christmas music. I mean, let’s get that turkey eaten first, shall we?

In addition, Marla Isaac of New England Reptile and Raptor will bring her live birds of prey, giving guests the opportunity to get up-close and personal with a raptor. Adult and Community Education of MV (ACE MV) will hold its second annual Cultural Festival benefit to celebrate Island diversity and culture on November 19 from 5 to 9 pm at the MVRHS.
