Thousands filled the streets of Vineyard Haven for the 48th annual Tisbury Street Fair on a cool summer night on Monday, part of the town’s 348th anniversary celebration. Since 1971, the fair has been the town’s birthday celebration and a staple of summer, with vendors, games, food, and music drawing Islanders and summer visitors to Main Street for a night of family fun. Johnny Hoy and the Bluefish played, people danced, burgers were flipped, and fun was had by all.
