Due to the weather forecast for Thursday, Oct. 29, organizers will move this year’s ‘Lil Ladyfest to a completely virtual format. See the show live-streamed from MVYradio’s Facebook page starting at 5 pm, still on this Thursday, Oct. 29. For those who were able to grab tickets for the in-person show, you will have two options — either hold on to your ticket and use it for a re-do show next Thursday, or you will receive a full refund from the Martha’s Vineyard Museum. Ladyfest founders Rose Guerin and Kelly Feirtag ask that those who will not be using their tickets for next week to move forward with the refund so that your spots may be taken by others.
“We are so bummed that we cannot share this event with those of you in person, but we are happy knowing that we will be able to share this event with thousands of you regardless, and that we can bring attention to CONNECT To End Violence on our beloved Island,” Guerin and Feirtag said in a press release.
“We would also like to send a very special thank you to our sponsors: Gavin/Solmonese, Whitridge Associates, and Rockland Trust,” they wrote. “We could not do this without you and we are eternally grateful. Thank you so much to the Ritz, MVYradio, and the Martha’s Vineyard Museum for your support and love.”
