Edgartown activists pick up loads of beach trash on Earth Day

As part of the Vineyard Conservation Society’s annual Earth Day Beach Cleanup, Point B Realty in Edgartown organized a team of 18 staff, family and friends to hit the shores of Lighthouse Beach in Edgartown. They were joined by two helpful toddlers and a dog.

The team collected 13 bags of trash, a piece of dock, and even a noodle. The group was easy to spot in their white long-sleeved tee-shirts that read “B Good To The Earth And Beaches.”

It was a beautiful sunny day, and teams of all ages fanned out on beaches Island-wide.
