This past Sunday, Feb. 13, the First Congregational Church of West Tisbury hosted a recital, From the Heart, featuring pianist Lisa Weiss, professor of music at Goucher College in Maryland, and a frequent Island visitor. Joining her were local musicians Jan Hyer on the cello, Matt Pelikan on the recorder, and vocalist Kevin Ryan. All proceeds from the concert benefited the church’s preservation fund.
